ARTIST - DESIGNER - MAKER OF THINGS

Samantha S. Hines is an artist based in Northern Nevada whose practice is deeply influenced by European folklore and its connection to the natural world. Through sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media, she explores the ways myth, story, and tradition intertwine with lived experience.

 

She earned an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is currently completing an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts at Truckee Meadows Community College. This combination of studies has provided her with both a strong foundation in design and a deep appreciation for the fine arts, which she weaves together in her creative practice.

In 2025, Hines was awarded First Prize in Three-Dimensional Art at the TMCC Annual Student Art Show. Her dedication to craftsmanship and storytelling continues to shape her evolving body of work.
